Coychurch Lower Community Council

Coychurch Lower Community Council is the Local Authority for the Village of Coychurch which is located 2 miles east of Bridgend. The village has a population of 1200, a Church, School, Garage, Hotel, 2 Public Houses and a village hall.Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month with the exception of August.Members of the public and press are invited to attend but may take part if invited to do so. At most meetings there is an item on the agenda where the public may bring matter forward for the attention of the Council. The Annual General meeting is held in May prior to the usual Council Meeting. The Community Council has seven elected members and two officers.
